Collaboration with Folkwear Sewing Patterns

Botanica Tinctoria is collaborating with the wonderful Folkwear Sewing Patterns!  Folkwear offers patterns for garments from cultures around the world as well as from historic traditions in Europe and North America.  Many of the patterns feature handwork such as embroidery, smocking, drawn thread work and other beautiful details. And, many of the traditional patterns make use of zero waste layouts as they were originally made using hand-woven fabric widths.  We'll be making up a series of Folkwear garments in Botanica Tinctoria materials, and exploring different ways to create modern designs using hand techniques.
