We've developed this indigo mending kit with denim in mind - the kit includes a selection of slightly heavier weight, geometric patterned cotton Khaddar fabrics along with mid-weight dotted cotton, some solid linens and a heavy weight Eri silk, all suitable for mending jeans and twills. Fabric prints may differ slightly from those shown, all fabrics are handprinted and some are handwoven so there will be some variation since they are handmade.
The kit includes fabric swatches, mini thread skeins and voile fabric strips perfect for couching over a mend.
Each kit contains:
3x Hand Block Printed Indigo Cotton Khaddar Fabrics from Pakistan (may be slightly different patterns in each kit, may vary from photograph), Approx. measurements: 12.5 cm x 17 cm / 5" x 6 1/2" & 14 cm x 14 cm / 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
1x Oeko-Tex Naturally Dyed Linen in Mid Indigo, Approx. measurements: 12cm x 18 cm / 5" x 7".
1x Handwoven + Naturally-Dyed Organic Eri Silk Fabrics in Indigo with Iron Grey, Approx. measurements: 12cm x 13.5 cm / 5" x 6".
1x Hand Block Printed Indigo Cotton Fabric from India, Approx. measurement: 11cm x 14cm / 4 3/4" x 5 1/2".
1x Organic Cotton Sashiko Mini Skein, 1x Linen Thread, 5 metres / 5.5 yards each.
